Just in case you haven't heard the GREAT news-- late yesterday/Saturday, the Maryland House of Delegates voted to repeal the Computer Services Sales Tax!!!
The bill now goes to the desk of Governor O'Malley, who has pledged to sign it. Once the Governor signs it, the Tech Tax is history...

What is Hidden Kitchen? Hidden Kitchen is what is called an "underground restaurant" or "private supper club". The concept of an underground restaurant has been around for a long time and there are probably a few in the city that you live in. Basically it gives us an opportunity to cook (which we love to do) part time and meet new people. It gives you the opportunity to have dinner in the setting of a parisian apartment while meeting other like-minded food people.
What we do: After a reservation is made and we send you the details, guests are asked to arrive around 8PM. Upon your arrival, we start with an aperitif while waiting for others to arrive and people are getting settled.
Once everyone is seated we start the dinner service which will be seven small courses as well as an amuse, cleanser and petite fours. Wine will also be paired with most courses and an explanation of the wine and food will be given. The dinner usually starts around 8:30PM and finishes just before Midnight (the last Metro leaves at 12:15 on Sundays).
There is a requested donation for the evening of 70 euros per person which is inclusive all the food and wine. The donation pays for our food and wine costs and allows us to continue to host these dinners.
How to get a reservation: Just e-mail us with a date in mind and a number in your party. Keep in mind that we only serve on Saturdays and Sundays. If we have availability on the day that you requested, you will be added to our reservation book and we will confirm your reservation by e-mail. About one week before the dinner we will send you a confirmation e-mail with our address, the closest metro stops and a phone number in case you get lost.
If you have more than 8 people, then we will book the entire table for just your party. If you have less than 8, then we will be filling the table with other people who have asked for the same date.
If you were added to this mailing list by mistake, or are just sick of hearing this spiel, reply to this e-mail with "remove me" in the subject line.
Are you coming to the party on Saturday? Also, did you send me the thing on underground restaurants? Hope to talk to you soon...
